With over 42 years of experience in the swimming pool construction industry, Ed Delafield brings the knowledge and commitment that you deserve to the construction of your Griffin Pool. Ed has built over 3,000 swimming pools in the backyards of Polk County. Ed’s reputation as a top swimming pool builder earned him an appointment by Governor Lawton Chiles to the Construction Industry Licensing Board, a position he held for over eight years. Ed has been a 27 year member of the originally named Florida Pool and Spa Association (now known as the Florida Swimming Pool Association) and was an original founding member of the Polk County chapter of the FSPA. He also held the position of president of the Florida Swimming Pool Association on both the local and regional levels. In 2004 Ed was given the distinct honor of being inducted into the Florida Swimming Pool Hall of Fame. He was again recognized as The Man of the Year by the National Swimming Pool Institute in 2006. Ed and his family have resided in Polk County since 1975.

Andy joined Ed Delafield in partnership with Griffin Pools January 2006. Prior to joining the Griffin Pools team, Andy served as the Wealth Strategist for SunTrust Banks, Inc. Central Florida market for almost eleven years. Andy is also a registered investment advisor with Allen & Company of Florida, Inc. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors for AFI, the Advisory Board for VISTE, and the Board of Directors for FSPA. Andy and his family have resided in Polk County since 1985.
